Since I joined the University on January 1, 1993 as an FPU scholarship holder of the Ministry of Education, my scientific activity has been mainly oriented towards five lines of research: i) Structural modifications, ii) Social Economy entities, iii) Financing contracts and public-private collaboration, iv) Information and communication technologies and their application to corporate law (ICTs) and v) Competition law.
I have been part of numerous R+D+I research projects as a member or as principal investigator. I must highlight 'E-Fraud and Banking Communications in the European Union:Procedural and Substantive Aspects', ANEP, 2011 -2014, 'Social entrepreneurship in the face of the employment and social welfare crisis. Subproject 1: Regulatory and public policy factors in the success of social entrepreneurship' between 2013 and 2015 (DER2012-39223-C02-01) and as a continuation of it, the second: 'Collaborative Economy, Social Economy and Welfare' between 2016 and 2018 (DER2015-65519-C2-1-R), and 'New challenges of financial markets: Shadow banking regulation, venture capital and FinTech, customer protection and information exchange with tax implications', funded by the Ministry of Economy, Industry and Competitiveness (DER2017-84218-C2-1-R)all funded by the Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness. The most recent project that I also lead is Project TED2021-129787B-I00, funded by MCIN/AEI/10.13039/501100011033 and by the European Union 'NextGenerationEU'/PRTR, called KEY SELF-CONSUMPTION COMMUNITIES IN ENERGY TRANSITION (POWERCOOP).
From these research projects I have obtained numerous results that I can include in each of the lines developed by me since my incorporation to the university.
I must emphasize especially the study of social economy entities and their participation in public-private collaboration projects. A broad knowledge of the subject has allowed me to find the meeting points that I have been materializing in numerous articles, book chapters and participation in conferences of specialization.
Another essential line is related to information and communication technologies and security in electronic transactions. In the first case, I analyze the position of partners and third parties before the company, and the exercise of their political rights through, mainly, the corporate website, or other tools offered by the companies. A second line within the information and communication technologies is the security of electronic transactions, the implementation of information technologies in the formalization of contracts, and even the development of self-executing contracts, or Smart contracts, which I have been studying for more than fifteen years now, and which is now called blockchain, or data chains.
Finally, in the field of social economy entities, and in particular social enterprises and the welfare state, I have obtained numerous results, between conferences and studies on social clauses or choice of legal form for the development of a social activity, which I have been analyzing not only from a corporate perspective, but also from the perspective of antitrust law.
I am currently participating in the Doctoral Program Social Economy of IUDESCOOP in the Master in Business Law and Social Economy (2009 to date) of which I am co-Director in addition to having taught in several non-official Masters of the UVEG. Finally, I must emphasize that I am Director of IUDESCOOP, anonymous evaluator of the scientific journals of CIRIEC-Spain, and since 2009 I am evaluator in the ANEP and as for the transfer of results, I must emphasize that I have been an arbitrator in the Consumer Arbitration Board of the Valencian Community for more than ten years and member of the Commission for the Defense of Competition of the Valencian Community for 5 years.
